Principal Dancers

HECTOR SANTOSHECTOR SANTOS, was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico where he studied Visual Arts and developed an acute sense for detail and respect for the body and the amazing things it can do. While there, he studied drawing, painting, sculpting, architecture, and theatre. Later Hector had the opportunity to join the Tabernacle Company in Jerusalem, Israel where he was part of the Feast of Tabernacles for four different years. He was also part of the Way of Life Acrodramance Company in Florida and had the opportunity to travel around the globe several times with that company. Hector has spent the past decade in Pittsburgh where he was able to perform in some of the most renowned theatres and companies in the tri-state area, such as the Pittsburgh Youth Ballet, The Ballet Academy of Pittsburgh, and the Laurel Ballet Company in Greensburg, in productions like The Nutcracker, Equinox, Sleeping Beauty, Serenade, and many more. This is his first year performing with ORB.

 

 

Morgan Virginia JacobyMORGAN VIRGINIA JACOBY, age 22, is a senior student at Slippery Rock University majoring in dance. She has nineteen years of dance experience including ballet, pointe, lyrical, jazz, modern, tap, and hip-hop. Morgan attended her first summer intensive in 2010 at the Rockette Summer Intensive in New York City at the Radio City Music Hall. She attended this same intensive in 2011. In 2014, Morgan travelled to Durham, NC for six weeks for the American Dance Festival (ADF). At ADF she had the opportunity to work extensively with many of the leading professionals in the field including T-Lang, Rodger Belman, and Jesse Zarrit. She also took many master classes with several well-known dancers and choreographers. Morgan also had the opportunity to take classes at the American College Dance Festival Association (ACDFA) in the Spring of 2014. Morgan is currently employed as a teacher at Studio 22 Performing Arts Academy in Franklin. Her performance history includes Slippery Rock Dance Theater Fall and Winter Concerts since 2011, as well as the Senior Synthesis Concerts, PEDA competitive dance team, The Hard Nut, Firebird, Jazzy Nutcracker, and ORB’s Alice in Wonderland, Bremen Town Musicians/Le Train Bleu, Cinderella, The Little Mermaid, and The Frog Prince, and Snow White and the Seven Merry Maids. This is Morgan’s seventh year performing with ORB.

 

Soloist

Madison Henry MADISON HENRY, age 18, is a student at Franklin Area High School and takes dance instruction at Studio 22.  She has thirteen years of dance experience including ballet, pointe, jazz, hip-hop, modern and lyrical. Her performance history includes Red Cross, Black Tie at the Barrow, The Hard Nut, Thriller in the Park, A Franklin Christmas at the Barrow-Civic Theatre, A Memorial Day parade in Washington D.C., and ORB’s Light Up Night Flash mob. She has also appeared in numerous dance competitions, Applefest performances, Franklin Middle/High School Talent Shows, FHS Knightette/Captain performances, and Half-time performances at Heinz Field for the Steelers. Moreover, Madison performed in ORB’s Cinderella, The Frog Prince, and held the principle roll in The Little Mermaid. She is currently a member of Studio 22’s competitive dance team Fusion, ORB’s Student Secretary, Class Council President, and Student Council President. She is also a dance instructor at Studio 22. In the fall of 2015, she will attend the University of Cincinnati majoring in Medical Laboratory Science. This is Madison’s forth year performing with ORB.

 

 

Trevor TREVOR RUNCO,is a nationally certified professional ballroom dancer and educator from Punxsutawney, PA. He began his dance career with figure skating at the age of ten and since that time he has had formal training in Ballet, Tap, Modern and Jazz. Trevor dances with several companies in western Pennsylvania and eastern Ohio, performing regularly throughout the year. He also attended the Kent State University dance program where he performed with the American Collegiate Dance Festival and other collegiate activities. Trevor has performed in the televised performance of ABC's Philadelphia Thanksgiving Day Parade as well. He is an accomplished musician, actively performing for weddings and accompanying dance classes. Trevor works full time as a Flight Instructor. This is his third year performing with ORB.

 

 

Abbey ShullABBEY SHULL, age 16, is a student at Franklin High School and takes dance instruction at Studio 22.  She has fourteen years of dance experience including ballet, jazz, tap, pointe, lyrical and hip-hop. Her performance history includes Lake Erie Ballet Performance of Hansel & Gretel, Joseph & the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, White Christmas, A Christmas Carol, Studio 22’s The Hard Nut, Firebird, Beatrix Potter, Thriller, July 4th in the Park, Dancing for Life, Jazzy Nutcracker, The Drowsy Chaperone, FHS Knightette performances,andORB’s Alice in Wonderland, Bremen Town Musicians/Le Train Bleu, Cinderella, The Little Mermaid and The Frog Prince. She is a member of Studio 22’s competitive dance team Fusion and has been a dance instructor at Studio 22 for three years. Abbey also participated in the Pittsburgh Youth Ballet Summer Intensive Program in 2010 and 2011 and the Rockettes' Summer Intensive in NYC in 2013 and 2014. This is Abbey’s sixth year performing with ORB. 

 

Victoria StachelrodtVICTORIA STACHELRODT, age 18, is a student at Franklin High School and takes dance instruction at Studio 22.  She has fifteen years of dance experience including ballet, jazz, tap, hip-hop, lyrical and modern. Her performance history includes, White Christmas, 4th of July in the Park, Thriller in the Park, The Drowsy Chaperone, Black Tie at the Barrow, FHS Knightette performances, and ORB’s Cinderella and The Little Mermaid.  Victoria has also been a member of Studio 22’s competitive dance team for three years. This is her forth year performing with ORB.

CAROLINE COULTER, age 17, is a student at Grove City High School and takes dance instruction at Dance Center Studios.  She has eleven years of dance experience including ballet, tap, Jazz and lyrical. Her dance performance history includes eleven recitals and five years of participation in the Advance 2 Company.  She has also danced two minor roles in ballet performances at DCS and has been part of the DCS competition team for four years.  Caroline has been an assistant teacher at DCS for four years, a member of Grove City High School’s show choir group, and a member of Grove City High School’s dance front for marching band as well. This is her third year performing with ORB.

Rachel LeechRACHEL LEECH, age 16, is a student at Meadville High School and takes dance instruction at Allegro Dance Arts.  She has thirteen years of dance experience in ballet, four years in tap, and three years in jazz.  Her performance experience includes The Nutcracker (featured as Snow Queen in 2014), Allegro Competition Team, NUVO dance convention, and ORB’s Alice in Wonderland, Bremen Town Musicians/Le Train Bleu, Cinderella, The Little Mermaid, and The Frog Prince, as well as a variety of recitals and creative shows. Rachel participated in the Pittsburgh Youth Ballet Summer Intensive program from 2009-2013 and last summer, she participated in West Point Ballet’s Summer Intensive.  This is Rachel’s sixth year performing with ORB.

 

 

 

Ryan SchifferRYAN SCHIFFER, age 17 is a student at Oil City High School and takes dance instruction from The Performing Arts Academy with Darin. He has three years of dance experience including jazz, tap, hip-hop, ballet, modern, and acro. His performance history includes multiple year-end shows, community events, and musical productions both at his school and at the Barrow-Civic theatre. He also participated in The Performing Art Academy’s Summer Program. This is his first year performing with ORB.

 

 

 

 

Eli Skelton ELI SKELTON, age19, born and raised in Wichita Kansas.  Eli's dance career was launched when he began dancing on living room furniture trying to imitate “Bojangles” Robinson and Fred Astaire. In desperation, his parents drove him to Ballet Wichita and enrolled him in dance classes where he danced for 12 years. In college he has started exploring other forms of dance including Jazz, Contra dance, Character and continued on with his main interest, Ballet. He also studied gymnastics for many years at Gymnastic East from Mr. Jerry Murphy. In high school he was on the school wrestling team.  Eli continued his dance training with summer intensives at Kansas City Ballet and Texas Ballet Theater. Eli is a Freshman at Allegheny College where he is considering a major in Chemistry. He recently performed as the Nutcracker in Allegro Fine Arts’ Nutcracker Suite Ballet, 2014. This is his first year performing with ORB.

 

 

 

Corps de Ballet

 

Abigail AdamsABIGAIL ADAMS, age 14, is a student at Cranberry Jar/Sr High School and takes dance instruction from the Performing Arts Academy. She has eleven years of dance experience including ballet, jazz, modern, hip-hop, tap, and pointe. This is also Abigail’s second year as an assistant dance instructor at TPAA. Her performance history includes a variety of recitals and community performances as well as singing, acting, and dancing in eight youth theatre productions at the Barrow Civic Theatre. She has also participated in many master classes including two of ORB’s ballet master classes, multiple classes at the Abby Lee Dance Company, and most recently the ORB Summer Intensive. This is her first year performing with ORB.

 

 

 

 

Devon ChaseDEVON CHASE, age 16, is a student at Oil City High School and takes dance from Studio 22. She has three years of dance instruction including ballet, pointe, jazz, modern, and tap. Her dance experience includes the Allegro Dance Arts Acro Summer Intensive, Summer Dance Camp at Venango College, Summer Dance courses at Studio 22, and two recital performances. This is her first year performing with Oil Region Ballet.

 

 

 

 

Sydney DavisrSYDNEY DAVIS,age 14, is a student at Saegertown Jr./Sr. High School and takes dance instruction at Allegro Dance Arts. She has eleven years of dance experience in ballet as well as eight years in jazz and hip-hop. Sydney is also a member of Allegro’s Competitive team. Her performance history includes the roles of “Snow,” “Icicle,” and “Dew Drop” in The Nutcracker, and the roll of “Scar” in Allegro’s spring recital. She has also attended NUVO Dance Conventions, ORB’s summer intensive, and a summer intensive at West Point Ballet. This is her first year performing with ORB.

 

 

 

 

Lily DunnLILY DUNN, age 15, is a student at Grove City High School and takes dance instruction at Dance Center Studios. Lily has eleven years of dance instruction including eleven years of ballet and seven years of jazz. She has danced in ten recitals and became part of the Jr. Corp at Dance Center Studios two years ago, performing in Cirque de Paris (a ballet in one act.), The Ribbon Seller (a ballet in one act), and Fantastic Boutique (a ballet in one act).  She has also appeared in ORB’s The Little Mermaid and The Frog Prince. Lily attended the New York City Dance Alliance convention in Pittsburgh and is a member of the GCHS Silk line as well.  This is Lily’s third year performing with ORB.

 

 

 

 

Alayna Earp ALAYNA ROSE EARP, ALAYNA ROSE EARP, age 16, is a student at Cranberry Jr/Sr High School and takes dance instruction from The Performing Arts Academy with Darin. She has thirteen years of dance experience (age 3 Thomas School of Dance; Ages 5-13 Forestwood Performing Arts; Ages 13-15 The Performing Arts Academy with Darin). Her performance history includes Lake Erie Ballet’s Performance of Hansel & Gretel, and Alice in Wonderland and Summer Program at the BCT. Alayna was a member of the Competitive Dance Team for TPAA during 2012-13 and this is her forth year as an Assistant Dance Instructor at TPAA.  This is her second year performing with ORB.

 

 

 

Erin EdwardsERIN EDWARDS, aage 17, is a student at Franklin High School and takes dance instruction at Studio 22. Erin has thirteen years of dance experience including ballet, jazz, modern, tap, hip-hop, and pointe. She is a United Country Western Dance Circuit (UCWDC) 2nd Place Champion at the Worlds Competition in January 2011 and has danced the UCWDC circuit for four years. Her performance history includes Ballroom/partners dancing with Darin Paden, Dancing for Life, Studio22’s Beatrix Potter, Thriller, The Hard Nut, and The Jazzy Nutcracker, The Sound of Music, White Christmas, Applefest performances, FHS Knightette performances, 4th of July in the Park, The Drowsy Chaperone, and ORB’s Bremen Town Musicians/Le Train Bleu, Cinderella, The Little Mermaid, and The Frog Prince. She is also a member of Studio 22’s competitive dance team and is a dance instructor at Studio 22.This is Erin’s fifth year performing with ORB.

 

 

RACHELL HOWARD RACHEL HOWARD,age 12, is a student at Clarion Area Jr. High School and takes dance instruction at Clarion Center for the Arts.  Rachel has nine years of dance instruction including ballet, tap, jazz, pointe, checchetti, lyrical, hip-hop, and contemporary. Rachel has competed at Dance Masters for a number of years and has participated and placed in Cecchetti Council Competitions. Her dance performance history includes Clarion University’s Joseph & the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, and the BCT children’s production of The Little Mermaid, as well as Orb’s The Frog Prince. She also plays violin, piano, oboe and clarinet in addition to participating in FUMC, Clarion’s Kids to Kids Mission group, Youth Fellowship, and The Pathfinder’s Choral Group. This is Rachel’s second year with ORB.

 

 

 

Emily MattocksEMILY MATTOCKS, age 16, is a homeschooled sophomore and takes dance instruction at Allegro Dance Arts. She has eleven years of dance experience and has performed various roles including “Clara” in The Nutcracker and “Nala” in The Lion King. She has also performed in numerous recitals, creative shows, dance seminars (including one with the Duquesne Tamburitzans), and several Summer Intensives with the Pittsburgh Youth Ballet Company and ORB. Emily is a violinist with the Allegheny College Civic Symphony Orchestra and she holds the 2014-15 title of Master Livestock Showman of Crawford County. Emily returns to ORB for her second year after performing with the company in our premier year.

 

 

 

Kayla McCandlessKAYLA McCANDLESS, age 16, is a student at Oil City Senior High School and takes dance instruction at The Performing Arts Academy with Darin. She has five years of dance experience including ballet, jazz, modern, hip-hop and pointe. Her performance history includes five dance recitals, OCHS musicals Crazy For You and Guys and Dolls, a Halloween performance at Justice Park, the TPAA Christmas Recital, and the Oil City High School dance team. She is also a member of the TPAA dance team. This is Kayla’s second year performing with ORB.

 

 

 

 

Audrianna MontgomeryAUDRIANNA MONTGOMERY, age 13, is a student at Franklin Middle School and takes dances instruction at Studio 22. She has eleven years of dance experience including ballet, tap, jazz and hip-hop.   Her performance history includes The Nutcracker, The Hard Nut, 4th of July in the Park, studio dance recitals, and Applefest performances, as well as ORB’s Cinderella, The Little Mermaid, and The Frog Prince. She is currently a member of Studio 22’s competitive dance team, Fusion. This is Audrianna’s forth year performing with ORB.

 

 

Skyler MorrellSKYLAR MORRELL, age 15, is a student at Cochranton Jr/Sr High School and takes dance instruction at Allegro Dance Arts. She has twelve years of dance experience including ballet, pointe, jazz, urban jazz, and tap and is also a class demonstrator at Allegro Dance Arts. Skylar has performed in a variety of recitals and creative shows including, the role of “Clara” in Allegro’s biennial production of The Nutcracker, ORB’s The Frog Prince, and French Creek Community Theatre productions. She is a member of Allegro Dance Arts Competition Team and participated in ORB’s 2014 Summer Intensive. She has also performed in Walt Disney World, Florida with French Creek Community Theatre and attended Disney Broadway Magic and Disney Sings Performing arts workshops. This is her second year performing with ORB.

 

 

Erica PerryERICA PERRY, age 16, is a student at Rocky Grove High School and takes dance instruction at Studio 22. She has nine years of dance experience including ballet, pointe, lyrical, hip-hop, and jazz.  Her performance history includes Dancing for Life, 4th of July in the Park, Firebird, FHS Marching Band, andORB’s Bremen Town Musicians/Le Train Bleu, Cinderella, The Little Mermaid, and The Frog Prince.  She is a member of Studio 22’s competitive dance team, Fusion. This is Erica’s fifth year performing with ORB. 

 

 

 

 

TaylorT2014TAYLOR THOMAS,age 15, is a student at Oil City Senior High School and takes dance instruction at the Performing Arts Academy with Darin. She has eleven years of dance experience in ballet, tap, jazz, hip-hop, lyrical and pointe as well as experience with summer intensive classes, master classes, summer dance camps, and competitive dance. She is an assistant dance instructor and has been in several productions at the Barrow Civic Theatre including ORB’s Alice in Wonderland and The Frog Prince, Oil City High School’s musical Guys and Dolls, and numerous community performances. She also participates in varsity football/basketball cheerleading. This is her second year performing with ORB.

 

 

 

Shannon WolffSHANNON WOLFF, age 17, is a student at Cochranton Junior/Senior High School and takes dance instruction at Allegro Dance Arts. She has eleven years of dance experience including ballet, tap, jazz, pointe, hip-hop, urban jazz, and high heels. Her performance history includes ORB's performances of Alice In Wonderland, Bremen Town Musicians, Le Train Bleu, Cinderella, The Little Mermaid and The Frog Prince.  She is a member of Allegro Dance Arts Competitive Dance team and participants in the biennial performance of The Nutcracker. Shannon has also participated in NUVO Dance Convention, Pittsburgh Youth Ballet Summer Intensive, and Clarion University's Summer dance program in the past.  She is the former Junior Miss Waterfowl 2012 and the Miss Crawford County's Outstanding Teen 2013. This is Shannon's sixth year performing with ORB.  

 

 

Hannah Young HANNAH YOUNG, age 14, is a student at Rocky Grove Jr/Sr High School and takes dance instruction at Studio 22. She has eleven years of dance experience including ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, and hip-hop. Her performance history includes July 4th in the Park, Hard Nut, and ORB’s Alice in Wonderland, Bremen Town Musicians/Le Train Bleu, Cinderella, The Little Mermaid, and The Frog Prince. Hannah has been a member of Studio 22’s competitive dance team “Fusion” for seven years and is participating in her first year with the Franklin Knightettes. This is Hannah’s sixth year performing with ORB.

 

 

 

 

Petite Apprentices

 

Maya AlizzeoMAYA ALIZZEO, age 12, is a student at Neason Hill Elementary and takes dance instruction from Allegro Dance Arts. She has eight years of dance experience including ORB’s Summer Intensive. She has also performed in seven dance recitals, and several French Creek Community Theatre productions including, Annie, Oliver, Honk, A Christmas Carol, and The Best Christmas Pageant Ever. This is Maya’s first year performing with ORB.

 

 

 

 

Megan DavisMEGAN DAVIS, age 12, is a student at Saegertown Elementary School and takes dance instruction at Allegro Dance Arts. She has been dancing since the age of two including instruction in ballet and hip-hop. Her performance history includes the roll of “Chinese Doll” and “Lead Flower” in Allegro’s Nutcracker, and the roll of “Baby Nala” in Allegro’s recital. She is also a member of Allegro Dance Arts Competition Team, and has attended NUVO dance conventions (where she received a scholarship award) and ORB’s summer intensive. This is her first year with ORB.

 

 

 

Danielle GuthDANIELLE GUTH,age 12, is a student at Sandycreek Elementary School and takes dance instruction at Studio 22. She has eight years of dance experience and has just started her ninth year (Studio 22 from 2006-2009 and 2011-present, Forestwood Performing Arts in 2009, and Franklin YMCA in 2010). She has also participated in the Oil Region Ballet Summer Intensive Program in the summer of 2014 and the Fusion Competition Team since 2012. This is her second year performing with ORB.

 

 

 

Justus LindJUSTUS LIND, age 11, is a student at Central Elementary School and takes dance instruction from Studio 22. She has seven years of dance training including ballet, jazz, tap, hip-hop, modern, lyrical, and pre-pointe. She also participated in ORB’s Summer Intensive in 2014. Her performance history includes, four years with Studio 22’s competitive dance team, Fusion, performances at Applefest, end of the year performances, and a guest roll in ORB’s The Little Mermaid. This is her second year performing with ORB.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Supporting Role

Baylee CutchallBAYLEE CUTCHALL, age 9, is a student at Valley Grove Elementry and takes dance instruction at Studio 22. She has three years of dance experience in ballet, pre pre point, tap, jazz, and hip hop. This is her fourth year at Studio 22 and her first year on the Fusion competition team. This is her first time in a guest role for ORB.

 

 

 

 

Rick LoeffertRICK LOEFFERT,retired from state service, is currently working part-time as a speech language pathologist for the Easter Seals’ Early Intervention Program. This is Rick’s fourth year performing with ORB. He was in ORB’s productions of The Little Mermaid, Cinderella, and The Frog Prince.  His performance history also includes roles with the Barrow-Civic Theatre including parts in Scrooge, Annie, Titanic the Musical, Oliver, and three years performing in Hee-Haw and The Messiah. Rick also enjoys singing with the Joyful Noise Men’s Quartet from the First United Methodist Church in Franklin and singing for local service organizations and area churches. He recently returned from singing with his three brothers in the “Loeffert Barbershop Quartet” at the Mayberry Days Festival Parade in Mt. Airy, N.C.

 

 

 

Rick LoeffertDREAMA NELSON, age 21, is a graduate of Great Lakes Institute of Technology. She has sixteen years of dance instruction from Studio 22 including ballet, tap, hip-hop, jazz, pointe, lyrical, and modern. She was also previously a dance instructor at Studio 22. Her performance history includes White Christmas, Firebird, ORB’s Alice in Wonderland, Bremen Towne Musician’s, Le Train Bleu, and Cinderella. She is a former member of Studio 22’s competitive dance team as well. This is Dreama’s forth year performing with ORB.
